PP DHITAL (Thakur) - Founder

 Mr. Dhital is the Founder of Hotel Mega and Marlo Hotels in Nepal, and a highly respected travel consultant with decades of experience in Nepal’s tourism industry. He is also the founder of the well-established travel and trekking companies World Himalaya Treks & Expeditions and Dhital Expeditions, which have been serving both international and domestic travellers with excellence and authenticity.

Born in Gorkha, the historic land of the Gurkhas, Mr. Dhital has a deep connection to Nepal’s culture, heritage, and rural lifestyle. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Nepal, along with diplomas in Tourism and Information Technology, providing him with strong academic and practical foundations in hospitality and travel management.

Widely recognised as a leader in Nepalese tourism, Mr. Dhital is known for his vision, integrity, and commitment to sustainable and responsible travel. Currently, he is actively engaged in research on Agro-Tourism, with a focus on community-based tourism, local livelihoods, and eco-friendly hospitality practices in Nepal. He also serves as the Chairman of DHITAL Agro Tourism & Research Hub.






Richa Dhital

Chairperson

Richa Dhital is the Chairperson and Owner of Hotel Mega & Apartment, and a highly accomplished entrepreneur from Gorkha District, Nepal. With strong leadership skills and a strategic business vision, she has established herself as a respected figure in the tourism and hospitality industry.

She is also the Owner of Queens’ Garden Homestay & Apartment and has been actively involved in the tourism sector since 2006, contributing significantly to the development and promotion of sustainable tourism in Nepal.

Ms. Dhital holds a Master’s Degree from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, Her academic background, combined with extensive practical experience, has strengthened her role as a dynamic business leader.

In addition to her professional achievements, she is deeply engaged in social and community development work. She serves as the General Secretary of Village Environment Nepal (VEN), an organisation that cooperates with Stichting Student Project Nepal, Netherlands, focusing on environmental awareness and community support initiatives.

Furthermore, Ms. Dhital is the Chairperson of World Himalaya Treks & Expeditions Pvt. Ltd., where she continues to promote Nepal as a premier travel destination while supporting responsible and community-based tourism.
